Background and Education

Dr. Yoon obtained his doctor of medicine degree in his home state of Alabama at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in New York City at the NYU Medical Center and Hospital for Joint Diseases where he was elected as Administrative Chief Resident.

He then completed fellowship training and board certification in Pain Medicine at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center where he acquired skills using a multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of both acute and chronic pain using medication and image-guided interventional techniques.

Afterwards, Dr. Yoon joined and became an original partner of the renown Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic working in sports medicine utilizing his unique blend of training with a specialization in biologic treatments.
